Silicon Wave and MindTree Consulting Sign License Agreement
to Collaborate on Bluetooth™ Solutions
Silicon Wave, Inc., a leading designer and provider of RF communication
system components, and MindTree Consulting announced today a license
agreement for the integration of their software and hardware Bluetooth
solutions that will enable the support of Bluetooth wireless connectivity
in a wide range of consumer devices and PC peripherals including
cell phones, printers, access points, digital imaging devices and
set top boxes.
‘EtherMind’, MindTree’s Bluetooth software solutions, are qualified
by the Bluetooth Qualification Body (BQB) for Bluetooth Specification
Version 1.1 compliance. The EtherMind portfolio is comprised of
the core software protocol stacks and profiles available as both
embedded and host solutions.
“Our collaboration with Silicon Wave for the Bluetooth radio and
baseband silicon solutions complements our EtherMind offering,”

Silicon Wave’s Bluetooth Specification Version 1.1 qualified SiW1502™
Radio Modem and SiW1602™ Baseband offer the high-data throughput,
